Access from Ruzyně Airport by public transport - take the bus 119 and go to the terminal station Nádraží Veleslavín, there change for Metro linie A, go to the station Muzeum. There change for the Metro linie C and go to the I.P. Pavlova. There get off and follow the direction náměstí I.P. Pavlova, Muzeum A.Dvořáka.

Access from Hlavní Nádraží (Prague main railway station): take the metro, linie C to I.P. Pavlova station, get off and follow the direction signs náměstí I.P. Pavlova, Muzeum A.Dvořáka.

Access by car from Plzeň (highway D5, E50) - from the border checkpoint Rozvadov (border with Germany) follow the signs Plzeň, Praha. At Praha turn right on the direction Centrum, Praha Stodůlky, than go still straight on Plzeňská street, over the bridge (Jiráskův Most), to the Resslova and Ječná street and také the first right (Ke Karlovu) and you will get to the Kateřinská street.

Access by car from Wien, Brno (highway D1, E55) - from the border checkpoint Mikulov (border with Austria) still follow the signs Brno, Praha. The highway will také You directly to Praha, You have to drive through Legerova street, than to I.P. Pavlova square, then turn left to Žitná street and take the second left to Štěpánská street, then take the next left and first right (Ke Karlovu) and you will get to the Kateřinská street.

Access by car from Dresden, Ustí nad Labem (D8, E 55) - from the border checkpoint with Germany Petrovice: of the highway D8 go through Wilsonova street to Mezibranská st., take the next to the right to žitná street and take the second left to Štěpánská street, then take the next left and first right and you will get to Kateřinská st.


Walking distances to the historical centre:
To the Wenceslas square (Václavské náměstí) - 5 min. - Go through the Sokolská street, than follow to Mezibranská st. down to the National muzeum. The Muzeum is situated right on the top of Wenceslas square.

To the Old town square (Staroměstské náměstí) - 15 min. - Walk through the Sokolská st., than follow to Mezibranská st. to the National muzeum, than down to the Wenceslas square to the Můstek (the lower part of the Wenceslas square.)Than go straight through Melantrichova st. directly to the Old town square.
To the Malá Strana (Lesser town) - 30 min. - Walk through the Ječná st. down to the Karlovo square, than follow through Resslova st. to Jiráskův bridge. In front the bridge turn right and walk along the Masaryk riverside to the Národní divadlo (National theater). There turn left on the Legií bridge and behind the bridge turn on the right to Újezd and through Karmelitská st. will You get to the Malostranské square.

To the Prague castle (Pražský hrad) - 1 hour - Go the same way like to the Malá strana, from the Malostranské square walk straight up through the Nerudova st. directly to the Prague castle.


To the Prague castle by the tram - From the I.P. Pavlova square take the tram 22 and go to the stop Pražský hrad (the 10th stop from I.P. Pavlova).
